Roanoke County Christmas Tree Lighting Dec 7

The annual tree lighting celebration is moving to Green Ridge Recreation Center. Join us at 6pm on Monday, December 7 to see our 25-ft decorated and lighted tree in its permenant new location. Enjoy Carols by Roanoke County's After School for Kids participants and enjoy guided tours of the center. Light refreshments will be served. View invitation online.

ASK Student Artwork Show Announced

Join us from 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 9 at the 419 Headquarters Library for an opening reception of student artwork created for Enchanted Eve Celebration 2009. ASK students at Oak Grove and Penn Forest Elementary used their imaginations to create magical "eye-wear" with artist and teacher Julie Hamilton. Light refreshments will be served. Body Recall - Classes Begin Dec. 7

A safe, tested program of gentle exercise and movement, Body Recall has something to offer adults of all ages. Its slow movements help circulation without threatening the heart, generating energy without sweating. Body Recall is designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance. The sitting, standing and floor movements in Body Recall work to enhance body function without injury. Many exercises are done from a sitting position in a chair. Ten week program.
