Tons of Fun THIS SATURDAY at Tanglewood

Join Roanoke County Parks and community organizations or businesses from throughout the Roanoke Valley for a day of fun games, activities and entertainment. Tons of Fun is at Tanglewood Mall from 10am to 4pm on Saturday. It's a FREE event that's fun for the whole family.

Spring 2010 Guide Posted Online!

We're excited to let you know that our Spring 2010 program guide is now now available online. Check out the latest edition REConnection Magazine and get a sneak peak at our program offerings before the guide arrives your mailbox at the end of the month. Program registration begins March 6 online for county residents. March 8 phone/walk in for residents and March 11 for non-residents. All Summer Camp programs already posted are open for registration right now.

Snow Day Options From Roanoke County Parks

Need something for the kids to do on the snow day? Roanoke County offers two full-day enrichment programs when schools are out. Join us at Green Ridge Recreation Center for fun games and swimming for only $50 for the whole day or $25 for a half day, or come to the Brambleton Teen Center for video games and more for just $40 for the whole day. Parents have the day off too? Take the whole family to Green Ridge and enjoy what we have to offer.

2010 Summer Camp Preview Posted Online

It's not too early to start thinking about summer camps for the kids! We've just posted a preview of this year's summer camp lineup with classes you can sign up for RIGHT NOW. Therapeutic Recreation Valentines Dance Postponed

The Valentine's Dinner Dance for individuals with disabilities from our Therapeutic Recreation Services division has been postponed due to the threat of snow. The event previously schedule for Tuesday night has been moved one week to Tuesday, February 16th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. We apologize for any inconvenience.
