Last Chance to Sign Up for Splash-in Movie

We've already had 80 people sign up to see the movie HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON Saturday evening at the Green Ridge indoor pool. Space is limited, so be sure to have your reservation in to us as soon as possible. Have fun in the pool starting at 6:30pm and the movie will be shown at 7:30pm. Admission to the all-ages event is $8 per person (under 2 are free). Pre-registration is required for all ages. You may register online or at any Parks, Recreation and Tourism facility. Event is limited to the first 200 people. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Pizza and soda will be available for purchase in the party room for $1.50 for soda and $2/slice of pizza or get a combo for $3. Register Online Here

Fall Foliage Photography Class Saturday

Fall is one of the prettiest times of the year to take photos, especially here in the Blue Ridge. The magnificent shades of reds and yellows experienced in the Fall inspire both the amateur and more seasoned photographer. Stroll through scenic Green Hill Park with us as we learn a few tips that will help you capture these wonderful scenes. Participants should be comfortable shooting with their camera and should dress for the outdoors. Bring owners manual if needed for reference. Canoeing at Camp Roanoke

Join an easy flat-water canoe excursion for all ages! Canoe the tranquil waters of Spring Hollow Reservoir under the safe guidance of Camp Roanoke's staff. Meet at Camp Roanoke to outfit equipment then take a short trip to the reservoir where you will be able to enjoy the evening exploring the Spring Hollow Reservoir.
