Splash Valley - Last Weekend to PLAY!

Splash-in to the final days of summer at Splash Valley water park! Open Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day Monday 11 AM to7 PM for Roanoke County residents and Noon to 7 for the general public. Plunge down two three and a half story slides. Float along the current river, or splash around in the children’s SprayGround. It’s your last chance this year to enjoy Roanoke’s most exciting aquatics attraction. Just off I-581 exit 2N. Left of Valleypoint Blvd.

Green Ridge Labor Day Hours

Please note that Green Ridge Recreation Center is open reduced hours on Labor Day Monday, September 6. Our holiday hours will be 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Group exercise classes that day will operate on the following schedule:

9:00 AM - Water Aerobics
9:30 AM - Boot Camp
10:00 AM - Arthritis Foundation Aquatics
12:15 PM - Cycling

With the exception of Labor Day, our programs are all operating on fall schedules.

Fall Program Registration Begins Saturday

Roanoke County's department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism has a fantastic lineup of Fall programs opening for registration this weekend. Dates are as follows:

Online Registration for County Residents - Sat., September 4
Walkin/Phone Registration fo Residents - Tue., September 7
Open Registration for Non- Residents - Thu., September 9
