Youth Basketball Preseason Clinics Start Sat.
Roanoke County's youth basketball preseason clinics are designed to teach fundamental and advanced basketball skills to children to prepare them for the upcoming recreation season. The clinics are lead by Varisty Boys and Girls coaches from various high schools while numerous high school varsity players provide supporting instruction. Each camp is limited to 75 players to allow for a camper to staff ratio of 5:1. Register Online Here

Dog Obedience Courses Begin Saturday
Join us each Saturday beginning this weekend at Bent Mountain Elementary for a Dog Obedience Course. This class covers basic obedience skills including leash walking, come when called,sit, down, stay, wait, etc. It also includes beginning distraction training to help owners learn to get these behaviors in a public settings. Owners will learn to communicate clearly with their dogs to facilitate learning, develop the mechanics of training, and develop a relationship with their dog that will enhance training by increasing the dogs' desire to learn. Green Ridge Rally at Vallew View Mall Saturday
