• Follow interstate 81 go Exit 132
• At the end of the exit ramp, follow signs to Route 460/Route 11. (approx. 1/4 mile)
• Turn right on Route 460 West / Route 11 South
• Pass Dixie Caverns and take the first left onto West River Road (approx. 1/2 mile)
• Cross the railroad tracks and take the second paved road on your right, Dry Hollow Road (approx. 1/2 mile)
• Follow Dry Hollow Road approx. two miles until the road ends. Bear slight right then turn left into camp.

Learn to Belay on April 14th!
Have a passion for rock climbing, but have not yet mastered the fine art of belaying? Come out to Camp Roanoke to learn or even fine tune your belay technique. The evening will consist of knot tying, the most up-to-date belay skills and climbing our 44 foot climbing tower. All equipment and instruction is included. Space is limited to 12 people. Extended Pool Hours for Spring Break
This week only, we're opening up ALL FEATURES of the pool at Green Ridge Recreation Center during the afternoon. In honor of spring break at area schools, you can enjoy all features of the pool from 1:00pm to 9:00pm Monday through Friday this week. Call 777-6300 with questions.
Hike at the Cascades - April 15
Without question, Cascade Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Virginia and possibly on the entire East Coast. The 69 ft. falls crash into a large pool surrounded by two hundred foot cliff walls. The scene is both breathtaking and peaceful as the falls combine both power and beauty'. So take a break this spring and enjoy this 4 mile trail in Giles County. Be sure to bring a bag lunch and your camera. This trail has some sections of difficult terrain and stone steps leading to the falls. Pick-up times for this trip are 9am at the Brambleton Center and 9:30 at Green Ridge Recreation Center and drop offs will be at approximately at Green Ridge Recreation Center at 3pm and the Brambleton Center at 3:30.
