Virginia Tech students help improve our parks
For the next two weeks 24 students from a Virginia Tech construction technology class will be put to work on several Roanoke County park projects. The students will be working on wooden trash recepticals for parks, a new dumpster blind at Brambleton Center, and adding internal wall studs to a new director's residence at Camp Roanoke. Mike Henderson, an adjunct professor and local master builder is leading the class. We're pleased to have the help of these eager young faces!
