Clearbrook Community meeting to feature Green Ridge Center

A representative from Roanoke County Parks will be present at next Thursday's community meeting in Clearbrook. Come to hear about the County's new recreation center and outdoor aquatics facility!

Want to try a high-ropes challenge course?

Camp Roanoke will opent up their high course to the public on Sunday April 26 from 1:00-5:00pm. The course consists of 6 elements constructed in the trees from 25 to 60 feet in height - ending in a zip line. Bring the whole family ages 12 and up to enjoy. Limited to 14 participants. Last Chance to Register for Teen Spring Break Travel

Teens ages 10-14 must register before April 6th for our exciting travel camp which runs from April 13-17. Activities planned for the week are: King's Dominion; North Carolina Zoo; Taubman Museum of Art; activities at Camp Roanoke that include climbing tower, hiking, archery and mountain boarding; Valley View Grande Movie; and a Thunder Valley Day Pass! Included in the cost: Use of Teen Center (video games, computers, free pool, free air hockey), breakfasts, lunches (except King's Dominion), transportation, staff. admission fees, and fun! Community Meeting to Discuss Future of Craig Center

Visit Craig Avenue Recreation Center Monday, April 6 at 7:00PM for a community forum on the future of the facility. Staff from Roanoke County and Roanoke County Public Schools will attend the meeting. Members of the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors and School Board will also be present.
