Olde Towne Petersburg Trip - August 25

Old Towne Petersburg is steeped in history and culture. Your visit to three museums will bring the city's past alive through art, architecture and Civil War artifacts. The Old Blandford Church of Bristol Parish, erected in 1735 is one of six known buildings where every stained glass window is by Louis Tiffany. Center Hill Museum is a symbol of grandeur of 19th century aristocracy and a outstanding example of Greek Revival & Colonial architecture. A guided tour will reveal The Mansion's history with stories of famous visitors. The Siege Museum tells the story of how the people of Petersburg lived before, during and after the Civil War with emphasis on the ten month siege of Petersburg. Fee includes breakfast biscuit, all tour fees, transportation & escort. Lunch is own your own at one of the many quaint restaurants in Old Towne.
