Rock Climbing Trip - Saturday, October 24

Get the experience of climbing on a real rock face with Camp Roanoke's trained guides. You will expereince first hand what it is like to climb the great cliffs the Appalachain Mountains have to offer. This trip includes all equipment, transporation and guided climbing where you will learn belay commands and climbing techniques. Space is limited to 12 participants. Green Ridge Tours To Begin November 18

Can't wait to get your first look inside the new Green Ridge Recreation Center? We're excited to let you know that in just a few short weeks we'll open our doors to visitors for the first time! Beginning November 18, you can visit our sales office on site at 7415 Wood Haven Rd. Hours will be 8am-8pm Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday, 11am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Bob Ross Oil Painting - This Saturday

With the Bob Ross method of Oil Painting, you will complete each painting in just one class. Even people who have never painted before can do this although more experienced people will also enjoy the classes. Each painting is done on a 16x20 inch canvas using Bob Ross supplies. The picture for October is Autumn Woods Farm; and the picture for November is Forest Edge Fall. The paintings are on display at the Brambleton Center. All supplies are included in the fee. In preparation for the opening of Roanoke County's new Green Ridge Recreation Center, a new web URL has been established to help guide users to information about the center.
