Mud Lick Creek Restoration Ribbon Cutting

Join us next Thursday, May 14 at Garst Mill park to celebrate the completion of a streme restoration and revitilzation project within Mud Lick Creek. Roanoke County received nearly $300,000 from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Water Quality Improvement Fund, to complete the urban stream restoration, which will improve both stream quality and beauty within the park.

"Tell a Friend" Summer Camps Promotion

If your child is registered for a Roanoke County summer camp, and a "friend" signs up for a camp of equal value between May 1st and May 29th, you are eligable for money back! Receive $25 back for all full-day and overnight camps, and $5 back for all partial day camps. Limit one sidcount per household. Excludes soccer and Sports K.I.C. camps.

Simply tell your "friend" to mention your name when they register for a camp program with Roanoke County Parks. Once their registration is complete, we will place a credit on your account for the amount described above. This credit can be used towards any program with Roanoke County Parks, or you may request a refund of this credit at your convenience.
