Green Ridge March Group-Ex Schedule Posted

Take a look at our new lineup of group exercise progrmas at Green Ridge, both for members and the general public. View the new schedule online here. We have added/changed some classes, based on attendance and member feedback:

Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. - Body Step **Cardio Intervals will now be at 6:30

Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. - Boot Camp is now 90- minutes (9:30-11:00) **We are getting rid of 10:30 a.m. Body Pump due to low attendance

Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. - Body Step Xpress (45-minutes) **This replaces the 12:15 Body Pump class on Thursdays, which wasn't getting many people - we still have Body Pump on Tuesdays at 12:15 - we are trying to accommodate members requests for more Body Step, so, I wanted to give it a try in this time slot

Fridays at 8:30 a.m. - This is now a Boot Camp class **replaces Cardio Intervals, which had very low attendance in February

Tuesdays/Thursdays - Wave Walkers evening class is being moved to 6:45-7:30. This change is to better accommodate pool space, and, swimming lessons

Oil Painting Class This Saturday

Join us for a full day of painting fun at Brambleton Center. This class shows the student how to produce realistic subject matter using a modification of an old master's technique known a grisaille (pronounced griss - sal) painting. This style of painting utilizes a dry monochrome underpainting on a toned canvas. The student has more control in this type of painting due to the fact that in the underpainting stage, the important element of light/shadow is the sole focus, making the final step of adding color more simplified. Included in the fee are most supplies except brushes and palette knife. Register online here.
