Camp Roanoke's Trek Programs Filling Fast

We're offering two full week offsite trips this year for rising 8th through 12 graders. Our Surf and Sea program takes you to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for camping, surf lessons, sea kayaing, swimming and more! Only 1 boys space remains, and 5 girls spaces. Our New River Gorge program takes you for a week of rafting, climbing, hiking and environmental education in West Virginia. Only 3 girls spaces remain, and 0 boys spaces remain in this program. Aquatics Information Phone Line Activated

Want to find out if the pool at Green Ridge has been closed due to inclement weather or technical problems? We've added "Aquatics Cancellations" to our 24-Hour automated phone line to keep you better informed. Dial 387-6455, then press 5 to find out the current status of the pool. When Splash Valley Water Park opens up this fall, this automated number will be available to check the pool status.

Green Ridge Pool Expands Hours Next Week Only

Next Monday through Friday, April 5 through 9, we will be temporarily expanding the operating hours of the indoor pool at Green Ridge Recreation Center. ALL features of the pool will be open between 1:00pm and 9:00pm these days while Roanoke County Public Schools are on Spring Break! Take advantage of these extra afternoon times to enjoy the pool through a daily admission to Green Ridge.

Easter Bunny Visit at Green Ridge on Saturday

Join us on Saturday, April 3rd from 10:00am to 11:30am at Green Ridge Recreation Center to meet the Easter Bunny! PLEASE NOTE DAILY ADMISSION OR MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION. Take part in our exciting coloring contest with fantastic prizes awarded to every age group. Your drawings will be on display at Green Ridge all next week. There will be light refreshments and games with your host, the Easter Bunny. Can't make it to the event?
